Solvency II law book refreshed for 2020

The leading reference book for Solvency II legislation, technical standards and guidelines has been updated for 2020.

The fourth edition of European Solvency II law, by Lieve Lowet, includes all the amendments that have been made to the directive and accompanying legislation in recent years.

The book brings together the three “levels” of legislation – the directive, delegated regulations and the implementing regulations – into one place, along with equivalence decisions and guidelines from the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.

EU regulation on sustainability‐related disclosures in the financial services sector is also included.

Lowet, director of Schuman European Affairs, has been involved in the Solvency II project since its early stages. She produced the first version of the book in 2012, with follow-up editions in 2014 and 2016.

The book is available in print or e-book format, and is offered at a special pre-order price until 15 July.

Published by KnopsPublishing, it can be ordered from http://www.mijnwetboek.be/en/producten/European-Solvency-law-2020
