Grant Thornton UK has appointed Tim Roff as partner and head of its actuarial and risk practice.
Roff was EEA head of actuarial at KPMG until October 2013, when he was succeeded by Ferdia Byrne.
In Roff's long career he has also had spells at Ernst & Young and Tillinghast-Towers Perrin.

Roff will be based in London.
