Manulife, Fed and USAA speakers confirmed for IERM North America

Representatives from the Federal Reserve, Manulife and USAA have joined the roster of speakers confirmed to appear at InsuranceERM's 2nd conference in New York.

The Fed's insurance policy leader Linda Duzick will join Louis Felice, the NAIC's solvency and capital advisor, and Patrick Clermont, director for life insurance capital at OSFI Canada, to discuss how federal and state agencies are developing regulation and supervision.

Manulife's chief risk officer Rahim Hirji will discuss business resilience in the face of cyber risk with Gwendolyn Collins, a Fed officer responsible for systems and operational resiliency policy.

Economic capital models and financial risk management will be discussed by USAA's Bill Jones and MassMutual's David Huntley, in a session chaired by Jack Gibson of Willis Towers Watson.

Other panel discussions and presentations will address ERM frameworks, asset risk, competition risk and emerging risks.
