The winners of InsuranceERM’s UK & Europe awards 2018-2019 have been crowned in an evening of style and sophistication at the spectacular Tower Bridge Walkways in London.
Offering stunning panoramic views of London, the high-level walkways, which are 42 metres above the River Thames, were the backdrop for a great evening on 7 March to recognise the companies, teams and individuals that are helping the re/insurance industry achieve better risk and capital management.
The evening kicked off at a fun pace with a magician entertaining the winners and their guests with trickery and illusion.
A professional balloon modeller was much in demand too, with requests for hats, crowns and animals. One guest even asked for an internal model balloon!
No awards ceremony would be complete without a fine selection of drinks and hot food, but for that extra touch of class, attendees with a sweet tooth could visit a popcorn stand.
With everyone in good spirits and the conversation flowing, it became clear the InsuranceERM awards is a must-have event in European and UK insurers’ diaries due to the prestige of the awards based on the judging process’s independence and rigour.
The winners were clearly delighted to receive their awards from InsuranceERM’s managing editor Christopher Cundy.
Their achievements were further recognised with each winner and their respective award category emblazoned on the windows in the walkways.
It was a very successful evening with everyone enjoying the occasion and chance to catch up with friends and peers.
The walkways’ glass floors – and their unique view of the road and pedestrian life below – also heightened everyone’s experiences.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners of InsuranceERM’s UK & Europe awards 2018-2019.
We also sincerely thank our judges for their time and expertise in deciding the winners.
