Japanese life association announces next chair

The Life Insurance Association of Japan (LIAJ) has nominated Hideki Nagashima, currently president of Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance and LIAJ vice chairperson, as the association’s chairperson-elect, for the next annual term beginning on 19 July.

Nagashima will succeed current chair Hiroshi Shimizu, who is also president of Nippon Life Insurance.
