In an environment where artificial intelligence (AI) solutions are emerging fast, it is a big achievement for risk analytics provider Greater Than to win best use of AI in risk management at InsuranceERM's 2025 UK & Europe awards.

Grater Than uses a unique AI system to convert existing GPS data into actionable risk intelligence on driver safety and climate impact.

By harmonising data from multiple sources, Greater Than allows insurers to see where their lowest and highest risk lies across their entire portfolio. They can also see how much a driver can influence the risk and what action to take to reduce the risk.

The results can be used for pricing, risk intelligence for risk grading and customer engagement. Furthermore, this can be integrated into existing insurance platforms or into customers' connected vehicle solutions. Greater Than says it can even help insurers develop entirely new products or apps.
