London-headquartered governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software vendor, Decision Focus, was the unanimous choice by InsuranceERM's judging panel to win ERM end-to-end solution of the year.

One judge said Decision Focus offers strong functionality. Another liked the vendor's integration across risk, compliance and audit.

Decision Focus's no-code platform for risk management teams was also highly rated by the judges. The company says the platform was created because risk management systems have traditionally been cumbersome and time-consuming to use. In comparison, Decision Focus says its solution offers an easy-to-use interface with minimal training.

Decision Focus's entry included testimonials from insurance clients including Ardonagh, BMS and Hastings. For example, the vendor has helped Hastings to improve its business continuity planning and operational resilience.

Jeff Robinson, head of risk and compliance solutions at Decision Focus, says the vendor offers a software-as-a-service solution that is hosted on the IBM cloud. He adds its no-code platform is highly configurable and offers clients a flexible support model.

Robinson says the vendor's expertise and knowledge on regulatory issues, such as the Financial Conduct Authority's focus on product governance, is another quality.

Having experienced a 300% growth in the number of its insurance clients in 2021, Soren Krautwald, a partner at Decision Focus, says the company, which was founded in 2004, is on a recruitment drive for more staff.
